Kids and Teens

Therapy can help kids and teens address and cope with mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression, as well as relationship and family problems. Therapy can also provide a safe and supportive space for teens to explore their thoughts and feelings and develop healthy coping mechanisms. It is a valuable resource for helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence and develop into well-adjusted adults.

Families and Couples

Therapy can be an important resource for families and couples who are experiencing difficulties. It can help them identify and address issues such as communication problems, conflicts, and intimacy issues. By providing a safe and neutral space for couples to discuss and work through their challenges, therapy can help them improve their understanding of one another and strengthen their connection.

Adults

Therapy is a powerful process for adults who are seeking support and guidance. It may help with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, and provides a safe and supportive space for adults to explore their thoughts and feelings, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and make positive changes in their lives. It is a valuable resource for helping adults navigate the challenges of life and improve their well-being.

Groups

Group therapy can be a highly effective form of treatment for a variety of mental health concerns. It allows individuals to connect with others who may be experiencing similar challenges and provides a supportive and understanding environment for processing and healing. Group therapy can also provide a sense of community and connection, which can be particularly beneficial for individuals who may feel isolated or alone in their struggles.

Coaching

Coaching can be a powerful tool for individuals who are seeking guidance and support in achieving their personal and professional goals. A coach can help individuals clarify their goals, develop actionable plans to achieve those goals, and provide ongoing support and accountability to ensure progress is being made. It can also help individuals overcome barriers and challenges, develop healthy coping strategies, and build confidence and self-esteem.

We provide personalized, evidence-based therapy for children, teens, adults, college students, young adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, panic attacks, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), stress, burnout, grief, self-esteem concerns, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, eating disorders, addiction and substance use concerns, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.

Our therapists offer specialized approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Nervous System Regulation Therapy, to help clients heal, build resilience, and create lasting change.

From your first conversation with Brigit, our dedicated Intake Specialist, to every therapy session, our goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered. We thoughtfully match each client with the therapist who best fits their needs because we believe meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship.

What makes Unify Counseling different?

At Unify Counseling, we know that no two people are alike—and therapy shouldn't be either.

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, we carefully match each client with a therapist based on their concerns, goals, personality, preferences, insurance, and scheduling needs. Our therapists create individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Nervous System Regulation Therapy, and other proven therapeutic methods based on each client's unique needs.

What truly sets us apart is the combination of clinical excellence and genuine compassion. Our therapists are carefully selected not only for their expertise, but also for their ability to build authentic, trusting relationships where clients feel safe, heard, and supported.

We believe the strongest outcomes happen when evidence-based treatment is paired with meaningful human connection, personalized care, and a therapist who is the right fit for you.

Who will I work with?

You'll work with a mental health professional who has experience helping clients with concerns similar to yours.

Before your first appointment, Brigit, our dedicated Intake Specialist, will learn about your goals, answer your questions, verify your insurance benefits, and thoughtfully match you with the therapist who best fits your needs based on their expertise, therapeutic approach, availability, and your preferences.

Whether you're seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship concerns, family challenges, burnout, grief, addiction and substance use concerns, or another concern, our goal is to ensure you begin therapy with someone who understands your unique situation and can provide personalized, evidence-based care.

Are your therapists licensed?

Yes. Unify Counseling's clinical team includes Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPCs), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), Psychologists (PhDs), Licensed Social Workers (LSWs), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (ALMFTs), and graduate-level counseling interns.

Our licensed clinicians have specialized training in treating anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, couples and family relationships, eating disorders, addiction and substance use concerns, stress, burnout, and many other mental health concerns. Our pre-licensed therapists and graduate-level interns receive ongoing supervision from experienced licensed clinicians to ensure they provide high-quality, ethical, and effective care.

Every member of our team is carefully selected for their clinical expertise, professionalism, and ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with clients. Regardless of who you work with, you can expect personalized, evidence-based treatment in a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment.

How do you match clients with therapists?

Finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of a successful therapy experience.

When you contact Unify Counseling, Brigit, our dedicated Intake Specialist, will ask about your concerns, treatment goals, insurance, scheduling preferences, and any therapist preferences you may have. Based on this information, she'll recommend the therapist whose experience, specialties, therapeutic approach, personality, and availability are the best fit for your needs.

Because every therapist has different areas of expertise, we carefully consider whether you're seeking support for concerns such as anxiety, trauma, ADHD, couples counseling, child or teen therapy, grief, eating disorders, addiction and substance use concerns, stress, burnout, life transitions, or another area before making a recommendation.

If you already know which therapist you'd like to see, we'll do our best to schedule you with them whenever possible. If another therapist may be a better fit, we'll explain why and help you make an informed decision.

What ages do you work with?

Unify Counseling provides therapy for children, teens, adults, college students, young adults, couples, and families.

Our therapists understand that every stage of life brings unique opportunities and challenges. Whether your child is struggling with emotional or behavioral concerns, your teenager needs support navigating anxiety or ADHD, you're managing the demands of adulthood or career stress, or your relationship or family is facing a difficult transition, we're here to help.

What is your approach to therapy?

Our approach to therapy is personalized, collaborative, and evidence-based.

We believe every client deserves a treatment plan tailored to their unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Rather than relying on a single therapy method, our therapists integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Nervous System Regulation Therapy while drawing from additional therapeutic techniques when appropriate to best support each client's needs.

Above all, we believe healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship. Our therapists combine proven clinical techniques with genuine compassion to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.

Our goal is not only to reduce symptoms but also to help you strengthen relationships, develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, regulate your nervous system, increase self-confidence, and improve your overall quality of life.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is very important to us.

Everything you share in therapy is kept confidential and protected by state and federal privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). There are a few limited legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality, such as situations involving concerns about immediate safety, suspected abuse or neglect, or when disclosure is required by law.

Your therapist will review confidentiality during your first appointment, explain these exceptions, and answer any questions you may have. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and trusting environment where you feel comfortable sharing openly as you work toward your goals.
