Life can be challenging, and at times we may find ourselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed, powerless, or unsure of how to move forward. Sometimes this looks like feeling weighed down by depression or replaying painful experiences from the past. Other times, it may show up as anxiety about the future or difficulty navigating life's many transitions. Whatever has brought you here, I believe you already possess many of the strengths needed for healing and growth. My role is to provide a supportive, intentional space where we can work together to better understand your experiences and help you move toward the life you want to create.
I believe every person is unique, which is why I tailor therapy to each client's individual needs, goals, and experiences. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and other approaches that best support your journey. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, addictive behaviors, and challenges related to self-esteem and emotional well-being.
I view the therapeutic relationship as a true partnership. Together, we'll explore the interconnected experiences, relationships, beliefs, and patterns that influence your life while building greater self-awareness and practical strategies for change. My goal is to help you gain clarity, develop resilience, and feel more empowered when navigating difficult situations.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. I am passionate about supporting others while helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. I also enjoy exploring philosophy, mindfulness, and the connection between the mind, body, and spirit as part of a holistic approach to well-being.
Outside of the therapy office, I'm a proud dog dad who enjoys cooking, listening to music, and getting lost in a great movie, TV series, or book.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding.
