Yasmin Shehab
Intern
Hello! My name is Yasmin Shehab, and I am currently a graduate student pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Counseling. I previously earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Work, which has given me experience supporting individuals and families through a variety of challenges and life experiences.
I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. As a counselor in training, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and exploring the experiences that may be impacting their lives.
I am especially interested in working with individuals who are navigating life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, and personal growth. I believe counseling is a collaborative process, and I strive to meet each client where they are while helping them recognize their strengths and work toward their goals.
I am excited to continue growing as a counselor through my practicum experience and to have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with the individuals I work with.
