Therapist

Erica Schreiber earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse in 2015 and her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling, from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles in 2022. She has been practicing as a therapist since 2022 and is passionate about helping individuals, families, and caregivers navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, self-understanding, and resilience.

Following undergraduate school, Erica served with AmeriCorps in the Buffalo, New York school system as an academic specialist and crisis counselor, where she discovered her passion for supporting individuals on their mental health journeys. Since then, she has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families in a variety of clinical and school-based settings.

Erica has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. Through her work providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, she collaborated closely with caregivers, educators, and family members to promote meaningful growth across home, school, and community environments. She is passionate about helping neurodivergent clients better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and build greater self-acceptance.

While working in Los Angeles, Erica provided school-based therapy services within a K–8 setting, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Attachment-Based interventions, and Family Systems approaches. She has experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, ADHD, ASD, learning differences, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, and life transitions.

Erica specializes in working with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and young adults while also supporting parents and caregivers through the unique challenges that can accompany these experiences. She enjoys helping clients navigate life transitions, strengthen family relationships, and address attachment-related concerns. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes authenticity, self-acceptance, and helping clients better understand their emotions, relationships, and patterns within the broader family system. She believes lasting change occurs when people feel seen, understood, and empowered to embrace who they are.

Erica strives to create a warm, welcoming, and collaborative environment where clients feel safe exploring challenges at their own pace. She values building genuine therapeutic relationships and believes therapy should be a place where individuals and families can work toward both immediate goals and lasting growth.

Outside of the therapy office, Erica enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking and playing with her puppy, listening to audiobooks, training for races, and staying active through fitness and outdoor activities.
