Having experienced therapy throughout much of my own life, I have seen firsthand how meaningful and impactful the therapeutic process can be. I’ve experienced the growth, healing, and positive change that can come from having the right support, and I feel honored to now have the opportunity to provide that support to others.

I believe therapy is a collaborative experience. My goal is to meet you where you are, create a space where you feel heard and accepted, and work together to help you get the most out of our time. I am also passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health care, particularly among men, and encouraging therapy as a healthy form of self-care and personal growth.

I am passionate about working with adults experiencing concerns such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and concerns related to sex and sexuality. I am LGBTQIA+-allied and sex-positive, and I am committed to providing culturally responsive, inclusive, and social justice-focused care.

My therapeutic approach is strongly influenced by Carl Rogers’ Person-Centered Therapy, with an emphasis on empathy, authenticity, and unconditional acceptance. I also incorporate practices from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy watching and playing sports, reading, practicing hot yoga, and spending time with my fiancée, Megan, and our cat, Bowie.
